I’m blogging from one of the most beautiful beaches in the world (Magen’s Bay). “Thank you Universe,” and “I’m a magnificent manifester.” You too can manifest magic in your life and blog from spots that make your heart sing. Here’s are a few examples to prime your manifestation pump.
On my way to the beach I kept hoping that a slow driver would turn off and clear the way for me to speed ahead – and he did. I said ‘thank you universe’ and “what a magnificent manifester I am.”
I began my walk on the beach and thought how nice it would be nice to walk and talk with someone – when a woman I’ve enjoyed great conversations with in the past – just happened to catch up with me: “Mind if I join you?” We walked a mile and our talk spanned memoirs, Afghanistan and the difficult search for non-halter top bathing suits and non-underwire bras.” ‘Thank you universe,” and “what a magnificent manifester I am.”
I’m going to go home and manifest a frothy cafe latte, followed by “Thank you universe,” and “what a magnificent manifester I am.” Like I said yesterday, light weights and frequent reps is the way to the gold.
Even if you are not consciously asking, when something happens and you feel good you can be sure that there is manifesting at hand, and the universe is responding to some request (perhaps unconscious) that you have made. To seal the deal and see it as part of your manifestation muscle work-out, all you have to do is acknowledge it, say ‘thank you universe’ and “what a magnificent manifester I am.”
The world is awash in the magic of manifesting. I can’t wait to see what the rest of today holds for me and, even better, what you will manifest in your world starting right now.
Today is the start of my 30 day blog challenge. I’ve been incubating this blog for quite a while and have asked for guidance to invite more readers and comments and get a conversation going as I create 5 Simple Steps to Paradise – a new, exciting group coaching program. I got as far as having a subscribe button put on the sidebar along with ‘Hot Stuff’ – steps in the right direction- when @Helen Rappy my coaching buddy/friend/colleague posted on FB last night that a new challenge had begun. I replied, “I’m in.”
If the proof is in the pudding, this is delicious. The evidence is in that light weights and frequent repetition is the way to go in this ASK AND IT IS GIVEN universe. I asked about blogging and conversing and providing value. I’m leaving the cool million and the tall, dark and handsome in my vibrational escrow for the moment. I’ll get to those bigger dumb bells and am inviting you to join me on this journey of building your manifestation muscles in a fun, delightful workout that will leave you toned and strong in your version of buff (Schwarzenegger? Madonna? Russell Crowe?….). What would you like to manifest in your life right now, today? Remember light weights, frequent reps – we’ve only just begun.
I was part of a group ‘angel reading’ by two very evolved spiritual teachers. The moved around our circle and spoke to each person about what they saw. I could tell they really ‘saw’ the essence, life purpose and great magnificence of each person, past, present and future. The mirror they held up for each of us reflected back our full, most joyful glory.
It was a powerful experience and, since I knew the others in the group, I could see how ‘right on’ they were with each and every one of us.
Their message opened my heart and spoke so clearly to who I am, what I love, and what I am here to do. It also got me thinking about how affirming the best in the people is life changing. It instantly raises the vibrational set point 1000%.
As a coach I focus on seeing the people I work with in their best, happiest, most realized state. even when they are not. I become the mirror for people’s becoming, inviting them to catch up with themselves.
When we see the best in ourselves, we treat ourselves and others better and move forward with confidence and purpose. When we see the best in others we call forth the best in them as well as in ourselves – double dipping.
All healing is based on holding a vision of 100 percent good health for the ailing person – of knowing that the natural good health state is already there and must be allowed to emerge.
There is great power in holding the space for people to be their best selves especially when they are not.
We all serve as mirrors for one another. If we focus on what we want to see all around us, we will reflect that back to others – ie they will see the good stuff in themselves which inspires them to be the good stuff and do more of it. The opposite is also true. If we focus on the negative aspects of others, that’s what they see as their reflection and reflect back.
I loved what the angels said to me. They told me that my purpose was to raise the vibrations of everyone I meet and of the planet. They added that what I really do is to put crowns on people’s heads – I crown people.
Consider yourselves crowned.
“I’ve been stretching and discovering new ways of paying attention: stopping for a family of chicks crossing the road, and waiting for that indecisive inguana to disappear into the bush ….. and then asking how does that apply to everything!” (my post on the Facebook stream yesterday)
I knew I was on the right track when I looked up “Attention” and was taken back to its root, ATTEND: to stretch or apply the mind to….. and that I was getting hot when I came across this sexy definition of ATTENTION (Webster’s Third International Dictionary): an organismic condition of selective awareness or perceptual receptivity; the complex of neuromuscular adjustments that permit maximum excitability or responsiveness to a given class of stimuli !
If stretching is extending and reaching further than we thought we could, leading to an enhanced experience and performance at a bigger, deeper level (think Yoga, dance, athletic training), when we pay attention, we apply (stretch) our minds so that we can perceive, understand and be more fully present (responsive and excited).
At the Andrea J. Lee’s Wealthy Thought Leader’s conference, we were asked to go for a walk after lunch and pay attention. I looked up at the snow covered mountains, noticed the new cherry blossoms and that people were smiling in the sunshine (an unusual state of weather for Vancouver winters), and that there was a Starbucks on every corner.
Paying attention might mean stopping and watching the chickens and considering how this hen, her brood and my decision to stop and delight, might suggest changing the way I am doing things in my business and in my personal life.
A friend replied to my post about stretching and stopping for wild-life by saying that she had passed a field with a cow behind barbed wire and it made her think about whether she might be a semi domestic female mammal longing for freedom? I’d never thought of BEING the animal so I’m still stretching (flapping my wings).
I just know that paying attention opens doors and raises high the roof-beams….. and makes things happen.
What are you paying attention to?

I go to Magen’s Bay on Sunday mornings. In addition to turquoise waters and sea grape trees, one of things that warms my heart is to see the white dove that hangs out at the far end of the beach.
I especially love it when I see Blanca (my name for her) perched on my Suzuki Grand Vitara. Then I know for sure it’s going to be a great day. Nothing like a bird and a blessing.
Which gets me thinking about times in my life when I looked forward to seeing something along the lines of Blanca – an omen, a mascot, a sighting – something pretty random to which I’d assigned magical powers.
When I was living in NYC, my boyfriend and I delighted in seeing a vendor with a pushcart that was laden with stuffed ducks of the bright orangey, yellow, fuzzy, fake-fur variety; creatures hung on and packed into a cart that moved around the West Village and Washington Square Park, catering to tourists and children and us. Seeing him always made me happy and know it’d be a great day. My boyfriend and I would come home and report, gleefully, “I saw the Duck Man” and we’d both feel bathed in good fortune.
When I lived in Davis, California, my daughter started going to middle school and I drove her to the other side of town, past a large uncultivated field where we always saw grey rabbits hopping around. We’d count them and it’d be a two bunny day or a 5 bunny day. My daughter and I would smile because seeing the bunnies reminded us that all was well with the world.
Which reminds me of the Disney Cruise ship pulling out of port here in St. Thomas and how it sounds the first 7 notes of “When You Wish Upon a Star” – I tear up and keep an eye out for those red smoke stacks and the mouseketeer ears, praying that I’ll catch that musical treat.
I looked up the word mascot in my trusty, very large Webster’s Third International dictionary. Mascot is defined as, “a person or thing held to bring good luck” and as “something regarded as a cherished emblem or symbol” and lastly, as ” a small boy chosen to accompany a team to its contests, typically wearing its uniform and usually obliged to perform such chores as tending bats or fetching water”.
I don’t have any such requirements of my ducks, rabbits, white doves or cruise ship horns. I just consider it an honor to be in their presence. I assign benevolent meaning to the magic of their existence and to those special moments when our paths cross.
I’m glad that I don’t get too bummed out when a Sunday goes by and I don’t see Blanca, or when I didn’t see the Duck Man or when the rabbit field was turned into a public swimming pool or I miss the Disney ship’s visit. I ask about the bird and I wondered where all the rabbits had gone – but I’m not handing over my power.
I’m just aware of what brings me joy and makes me happy. Since I know that joy begets joy – noticing and being grateful for and moved by these birds, ducks, rabbits and horns invites more of the same into my life.
And now I’m remembering the days of finding playing cards all over the place and delighting in the kings and queens and aces and even the two’s, and how it feels to see dolphins or a whale passing by.
What does it for you? What are your personal feel-good mascots and signs? Collecting evidence for everyday magic is just another way of saying thank you and inviting more of the same into our lives.
